A Chicago native of Puerto Rican decent, Michael Angelo, 27 is a Professional Dancer, Instructor, and Performer specializing in Salsa, Mambo, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, and Bachata dance. Son of Miguel Mendez, founder of the Dance Academy of Salsa, Michael Angelo's rhythmic roots can be said to have been embedded into his genes at birth! This natural talent along with the teachings of his father have allowed Michael to become one of the most precise, musical, and creative social dancers of our time.

Now teaching his very own, finely tuned style of Salsa dance, he calls "Dancing on Tumbao," Michael Angelo continues to promote a higher level of social dancing wherever he travels. Currently residing in Dallas, Tx, Michael's contributions to the city include popularizing the on2 style of dance, introducing new and inspiring styles of music by DJ'ing, introducing new and unique concepts of dance styling and musicality, and livening up the atmosphere at the local nightclubs/ socials by playing live percussion.
