Beginner Salsa
Prerequisites- None |
Mondays & Wednesdays @7:00PM, Saturdays @ 12:00pm
Objective- Learn how to identify and maintain the rhyhtms of Salsa, Mambo and Bachata Music. Learn proper dance floor etiquette. Learn different holding positions, basic step, how to lead/follow the right turn, left turn, cross body lead and more. |
Intermediate
Prerequisites- Students should be able to execute basic turn patterns with ease and precision utilizing Beginner Level coursework. Students should be able to find and maintain the correct rhythm & timing quickly, without hesitation.

Fridays @7:00PM
Intermediate Objective- Expand your repertoire by learning to lead/follow intermediate level turn patterns and shines (Freestyle styling and footwork combinations). Ladies will also learn prep and spin technique at this level. Body Isolation techniques are also taught at this level. |
Open Level Salsa/ Mambo & Cha Cha Cha On2
Prerequisites- Students who are aspiring to reach the Michael Angelo level of Social dancing. All levels welcome, from Beginner to Advanced. Each class will bring you one step closer. |

How to I begin taking lessons? Is there a start date? |
Classes are held on an ongoing basis. No preregistration or appointment is required. |
Do I need to bring a dance partner? |
No. We rotate partners in class as a part of the learning process. |
Can I attend more than one class a week? |
Absolutely. The more frequently you attend, the quicker you will excel. |
Will I learn something new in every class? |
Yes, but keep in mind that we follow a structured chronologicical order of coursework. In order to advance from one technique to another, students must demonstrate proficiency in previous taught techniques. |
What kind of attire should I wear? |
Casual and work casual is accepted. We recommend you wear shoes with a smooth sole that conforms well to your feet. No Gym Shoes or Sandals. |
