  • Are classes currently in session? What about holidays?
All classes are currently in session unless otherwise noted on our schedule. We are open on most major holidays with the exception of December 24th, 25th and 31st.
  • I would like to attend the Taste of Latin Dancing. How do I register?
The Taste of Latin Dancing is a considered a drop in class, meaning there is no advanced registration available. Payment is made in person at class time (punchcards are not valid for this class). Please plan to arrive on time or up to 5-10 minutes early to have the best chance of guaranteeing your spot. If you arrive more than 10 minutes early, please wait outside of the studio until the 10 minute mark. If you have a larger group (more than 8 people), we recommend calling or texting us in advance.
  • Do I have to register for a drop in class?
There is no registration for any of our drop in classes. Payment is made in person at class time. If you purchased a 6 class punch card online, your physical card will be issued upon attendance of your first lesson. We accept all major credit and debit cards.
  • What’s the difference between 4 week courses and drop in classes?
4 week courses are a great way to kickstart the learning process. You will be with the same group of students for the duration of the course. There is a class curriculum with new moves introduced weekly for smooth, efficient learning. Drop in classes are a flexible option for students who want to attend as their schedules allow. 4 week courses require registration while drop ins do not.
  • I want to register for a 4 week course but checkout says sold out. Is there a waiting list?
Unfortunately, once a 4 week course has sold out, registration is officially closed. We do not offer a waiting list. Registration for the following month will open once the current months courses begin.
  • When should I arrive for my dance lesson?
We recommend that all students arrive as close to the start time of your lesson as possible. You may walk in to the building as early as 10 minutes before the start of your lesson. If you arrive earlier than 10 minutes before the start of your lesson, please wait outside of the building until the 10 minute mark.
  • What should I wear?
We recommend that you dress in fresh, form fitting clothes that are comfortable and do not restrict movement. Always wear deodorant and practice good hygiene. Opt for shoes with smooth soles that will allow easier rotational movement. For the safety of others and in order to protect our floor, wet or muddy shoes are not permitted while dancing.
  • What if I don’t have a dance partner?
Not a problem! When partner dancing, all students meet, rotate and practice with one another as well as with the instructor.
  • I've danced salsa before. What level should I attend?
We recommend that all first time students attend one of our level 1 drop in classes. If you have previous Salsa On 2 training and would like to attend a level 2, 3, or 4 class, let us know that you would like to be evaluated during a level 1 drop in.
  • What style of salsa do you teach?
All of our salsa group lessons are taught On 2. Private lessons can be taught On 1 or On 2 per your request.
  • May I sit in/ observe a class?
Everyone who is in attendance is considered a student and required to participate. We do not allow anyone, including children to sit in and observe while classes are in session.
  • Is videotaping permitted?
Videotaping or photography is not permitted while classes are actively in session. Students are permitted to take photos and videos of themselves before or after class.
